Announcing renewal of "COSMOS1" corporate financial file (2003.1.7)

Teikoku Databank, Ltd. ("TDB") launched its renewed version of the Corporate Financial Database "COSMOS1", that had been provided since 1972, on January 6, 2003. The Corporate Financial File is a financial database that stores 2.64 million terms worth settlements of accounts from 480,000 listed and unlisted companies nationwide. The database has gained trust among numerous customers for its qualities such as data accuracy and extensive amount of recorded data.
In the past, TDB used to classify original corporate settlements of accounts into 188 account headings, but TDB now provides a unique and new corporate financial file with 577 account headings put together to become an exhaustive financial database that reflects today's new accounting systems.
In addition, consolidated financial settlements have been integrated into a database system with 744 account headings. TDB now also offers this "Consolidated Corporate Financial File" service.
